The birth of the puppets

The birth of the puppets

Doing some craft work together was a perfect activity after some talking and self-analysis sessions. Some women memorised their childhood and playing with dolls, while others got into puppet making with thoughts about their children or grand-children, and some of them started creating a puppet which resembles themselves directly.

Making puppets seemed to be fun and of course revealed different personal and group issues as well. At the end the chairs were occupied by nine colourful ladies, which were gifted with their maker’s possessed or wanted-to-possess features and abilities.

What is most interesting here is that despite any initial intentions of the participants, when the puppets where discussed with the whole group, all the makers started to talk about themselves. This is a prove that creating a puppet really works as a method to (re)discover yourself!
